Statement of Purpose
Building bridges is the purpose of the Cornerstone Lecture Series- bridges between the academic community and the neighborhood church and between the church and the man on the street. Christian scholars and common Christians have something to say to each other. And it is important that we encourage dialogue and an open exchange of ideas between them. This is the way we grow and broaden our understanding of what it means to live Christianly in a secularized society.

The Cornerstone Lecture Series features Christian scholars, theologians, thinkers and individuals involved in creative Christian ministry. Our desire is to enrich the Christian’s life by contributing to their spiritual and intellectual development.

Past guests include Dr. Derek Thomas, R.C. Sproul Jr., Dr. Peter Jones of Christian Witness to a Pagan Planet, Dr. Bruce Waltke of Regent College, and Dr Hywel Jones of Westminster Seminary.
